Krista-Cheney Krista is a native Vermonter, currently living in St. George, Vermont. She studied English Literature and Agricultural Economics at the University of Vermont, and is currently pursuing a degree in Web Development and Administration at Champlain College. She has studied photography since 2003, taking classes and workshops at the Maine Media Workshops in Rockport, Maine, as well as through local venues.

Artist’s Statement

My photographs capture moments of raw beauty found in the natural world, as well as unique images inspired by the art of nature. Whether capturing a landscape, close-up, or frozen still life, I utilize the craft of photography to capture the art found in nature and in the moments of unbouded beauty that nature shares with us when we are genuinely present.
