I am a largely self taught ceramic artist and I have been working with clay for more than 30 years. I began making and selling musical sculpture using the pinch pot method almost 25 years ago. I live and work in East Montpelier, Vermont and am a co-owner of the Artisans Hand Craft Gallery in downtown Montpelier. I sell my work at select galleries, shows, and through my website.

I make a wide variety of animal, vegetable, and human forms, all of which play multiple notes. The musical sculptures are easy to play and pleasant to hear. The tiny necklace whistles play a high pitch, 3 note bird-like tweeting sound and the larger pieces play progressively lower pitches. I also make a line of bird and animal Christmas ornaments. Each whistle is tuned to a standard scale and comes with care and playing instructions.
